This is a solo clarinet piece titled Meditation I by Michael Owcharuk. When written out, the piece has no time signature and no bar lines - it is up to the performer to interpret the tempo of the phrases and the relative rhythms.
I chose to record the first reading of the piece as an exercise for myself (instead of running through it once and then recording) - so this is a completely fresh reading of the Meditation.
Michael is writing a composition everyday for the year.
